Chris has spent his entire adult life serving in the United States Army and continues to serve in a combat arms role as a 12B Combat Engineer. For over 10 years, he has also been running this training company and works with students from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels.

The idea behind Regular Guy Training is simple: Be mindful of the plank in your own eye. Your individual training, no matter the reason for it, should be practical, well practiced, and quantifiable.

We are not here to sell you on things we used to do, we don't care about job titles, resumes, or how much experience someone had before they showed up. What matters is performance on demand. Can you mentally process what is happening right in front of you? Can you take immediate and effective action? We've worked with people picking up a firearm for the first time and people who have been training for years. The standard and relative effort is the same across the board. Learn what works, understand why it works, change techniques and approaches if it doesn't, and do the job at hand when it matters.

We understand that when people come to us, they are using their wallet to seek information. The goal isn't to make students look good on the range or fit them into a particular mold. It's to give them skills they can actually use, identify weaknesses, aggressively address those weaknesses with reps, and help them become more capable with the equipment they have versus what others say they ought to have.

We understand that there is no greater importance to anything in this world than the safety of you and yours, so our drive to make you better is ever-present and unrelenting.
